안녕하세요, 비비쌤입니다. 다년간 한국어 교육 현장에서 언어와 문화 통합 교육의 효과를 연구해왔습니다. 학습자들은 단순한 문법보다 문화적 맥락이 함께 제시될 때 훨씬 높은 학습 성과를 보입니다. 특히 음식 문화, 전통 명절 등 생활 밀착형 주제에서 참여도와 이해도가 극대화되는 것을 확인했으며, 이를 바탕으로 언어-문화 통합 교육법을 생각하게 되었습니다.

My Journey to Vivissem
Through years of teaching Korean, I’ve studied the effectiveness of integrated language-culture teaching methods. Learners consistently demonstrate significantly higher achievement when cultural context accompanies language instruction, rather than focusing solely on grammar. I’ve observed that engagement and comprehension are maximized particularly with topics close to daily life, such as food culture and traditional holidays, leading me to develop integrated language-culture pedagogical approaches.
Vivissem was born from this experience. I wanted to create a space where Korean learners can naturally absorb culture alongside language, and where anyone interested in Korea can discover its authentic essence beyond superficial information.
Drawing from my experience teaching cultural classes at King Sejong Institute, I cover a broad range of content from traditional games to the latest Hallyu trends. Rather than simply listing information, I strive to systematically present the background, meaning, and modern evolution of each topic.
Korea is a country with complex attractions that cannot be explained by K-POP or dramas alone. I want to explore with you the unique cultural landscape where millennia-old traditions coexist with rapid modernization.
